I just finished a 16 page research study literature review (something only someone in the field of academics can appreciate). Now it's 9:30 in my deserted college town. I'm living it up by posting on message boards while listening to the ghost busters theme song.

That's just how it works. You have the whole semester to do them but you don't do anything but party until near the very end and then you finally turn them in last minute right before they're due.

All my classes had exams. I had 3 paper classes throughout my entire 5 years in University. I guess that was good but exams are a bitch. I don't miss a thing about school. Good riddance to bad rubish.

My classes are aaall about papers. Next term I have my thesis class, 25 pages paper about any international theme.

Pretty much everything I wrote in college were lab reports, which tended to be 15 pages long. But the info for those generally came out of textbooks and lab syllabi and didn't usually require much in the way of research. But having three of those bastards per week was shitty.
