The whole Emo hatred thing is getting old. Actually, it was kinda old to begin with. Don't worry about them, they'll cut themselves to death eventually. And Linkin Park really isn't that emo.

Goths and Emo kids are similar in that they're feminine wrecks who cut themselves, however Emo kids are emotional, whiny, weaklings who dabble with homosexuality (yet claim to be straight) and dress beyond what's considered "metrosexual". If that clears anything up...

Well shit, that's what it is. I still don't get it. I mean I looked at that Wikipedia article but I've honestly listened to none of the bands listed except for Nirvana and Pearl Jam, and they weren't even examples of emo.

Rama's story reminds me of when this guy asked me if I was a "skater". I didn't even have a skateboard or anything, I had layered a long sleeve shirt with a short sleeve one. Teh fuck?

Turn on MTV2. If the singer looks badass goth with tattoos and black everywhere, but is singing falsetto with violins or such, then it is emo.

Emo makes me listen to classic rock. Which is scary cuz now classic rock stations play White Snake x.x

Having to work with people with 'differing' tastes in music/fashion labels can suck. I still don't have a job, but I had to bear all the other people in the last play we did fighting over music on the drama teacher's radio while we were supposed to be working on costumes. Until I told them that all their music sucked and put in a classical CD and told them to start cutting fabric.

God, I feel like an old lady tinking about that.

I saw a band on MTV that has just this thing. They were all rocking out to their half assed song and then a guy broke out with violin. I couldn't believe it. I bet Ace Freely rolled over in his grave. (Yes, I know he isn't dead.)

But I'm really indifferent about these EMOs, as the kids nowdays call them. If you want to listen to shitty music and look like a thrift owned by Johnny Cash threw up on you, well that none of my buisness. They are a whiney gaggle however, which I'd really rather not listen too....and it's getting so you can't get away from them.

Oh and Green Day isn't a new band...and if your popular in school then you shouldn't be allowed to listen to Weezer. Weezer is dork rock for guys like me.
