Saturday it was 85. We were drinking beer on the patio in shorts and griping because it was too warm to go to Dickens on the Strand in wool & velvet costumes. Today the high will be 56, going down to 30 Thursday night.

Don't laugh. That's cold for us.

30 is cold for us too being not too far from Houston. I did not want to get out of my nice warm bed this morning. At 4 in the morning my cell woke me up and even though I didn't answer it I had trouble getting back to sleep all thanks to inconsiderate friend. Must be freaken fantastic to have a bloody trust fund and not have to work like the rest of us! :angry:

i live in philly and i dont have winter clothes either!
i went to dc on the weekend, and went shopping for clothes...i bought tanktops:'(

whats dooney??
the thing is that last winter i was in co op, so i could only use suites. and i don tknwo where are most of my winter clothes( probably somewhere between here and NY)

This is why I like Mississippi...if you don't like the weather, just wait for five minutes. Somewhere around 25 this morning, and currently near 50, but we're supposed to get cold as a wedge tomorrow plus rain. Hope we won't have ice.

I don't really have any winter cloths either, but the cold doesn't bother me much. It was 12 degrees the other night and I went out in Jeans and a T-shirt, Which is pretty much what I wear year-round.

Yes they make sweater Nuri-head! We just had this conversation the other day. I told you I wanted one but didn't have $250 laying around. I've seen a couple of ladies wearing them, the softest cashmere on the planet. I do not care for the colors they have out this year. In the past they have had some lovely pastel colors. Not like it matters anyway since I'm not going to buy one.

There's nothing wrong with Mississippi weatherwise. Sure, we have thunderstorms and tornados pretty bad plus the occasional hurricane (re: Katrina...fuck a New Orleans), but every part of the country has its pet problems.
