I was "diagnosed" (read I was tested and deliberately made small errors) with it to get out of college algebra. Who knows maybe I really do have a mild case but I wasn't taking any chances. Who has time to learn theorems and FOIL when there is booze to drink and women to womanize and garbage cans full of water to dump under your RA's door.
