PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Snoop Dogg is seeking $2 million from a car dealership that he accuses of having misappropriated his image and speech pattern in its advertisements.

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court, the 33-year-old rapper, born Calvin Broadus, alleges that the Gary Barbera Enterprises ads constitute trademark infringement since they use verbiage that is "confusingly similar to the Snoop Dogg trademark."

Am I the only one here annoyed by Snoop's stupid "slang" and his stupid Christler commercials? I'm suprised someone hasn't drowned that nigga in New Orleans yet.

They should be sued for simply using ads so stupid to begin with. In fact, I wanna sue USA Today for making me look at that picture of Snoop Dog. He looks like a muppet in a carwreck.

Not really related, but on the news they were interviewing a kid that was a Katrina survivor, and the reporter was asking him questions in Ebonics! Ew!! Don't encourage people to speak that way any more than it's already done. "Where they at? Where they at?" UGH. The reporter was all lily-white, there's no way in hell she actually speaks like that.
