Yeah, clothing is always a good thing to donate. My family's actually been donating clothing to Purple Heart and Goodwill for awhile now, We actually had a couple bags of stuff go out this morning.

But seriously donate clothing and NEVER money. Since not only can you not be sure that the money is going where it says it is, but you already have been contributing to relief and rescue with you federal fucking taxes. Oh sorry Faye. I was talking to the Americans.

Wal-mart had a blue milk jug with a piece of paper taped to the front that said "Donate to the Katrina Relief". A jug! For all I know, that's the cashier's and she empties it into her pocket before going home.

The guy on the news said if we gave anything to give money, but that's (what you said, I mean) pretty much why I don't like to give money. It's kinda hard to steal a can of green beans and use it to buy booze or a whore... not that it can't be done, I guess.

If you're giving to a reputable charity like Second Harvest or the Red Cross or The Salvation Army, you can be pretty damn sure that money's getting put to good use. And they can stretch that dollar a lot further than you can.

Haha, my Wal*Mart had the same thing, however the jug there was clear... There was also a euro in the jug too, which was odd.

Anyway, after 9/11, I'm not so sure I'd even consider donating money to the Red Cross after seeing reports on their absurd surplus. Money that was going nowhere... Anyway, I have donated to them, but I'm not sure how I'm gonna feel if we see the same thing going on again.
