You sign up for webspace, be it on Freewebs, Photobucket or any other place that allows remote loading of images--hell even Nuri or myself could host it... After that, you put the ul of the avatar in your settings and you're done.

I used the internet in the library for about a year (1996-1997) before I got my own computer. In those first few months, it was very few people and especially few homeless. How I miss the library being homeless-free, before the notion of free pr0n brought them in droves...
