yep. plus in the one in AC, Puff Daddy and some other celebrities were there. I don't quite remember the ones that came to this one though.

Never. He steals his hits and raps nonsense over it. Then people like the classic song with the beat, and usually tune his dumbass voice out. 90% of pop music is only popular because of the beat, which isn't really much for music.

Rap = Idiots shouting over premade techno beats. Any originality or talent in rap faded with the death of Tupac. Now it's a buncha wanabe niggaz (and some real ones x.x) grandstanding for a guilty white population and a wannabe black generation.

Puff Daddy or Penis Diddle was the introduction of that phase. but then Rap is almost dead anyways, it's gonna reach it's peak.

Yet another reason I don't count rap as music. Machines and obscene yelling is not music, no matter how catchy the beat is.

Indeed. Rap is a sytle of vocalization, whereas "Hip-hop" is actually a description of a musical style. "Rap" is something that lends itself to any speech- related performance, be it music or poetry, or even non-rythmic monolouges.

I would submit with all confidence that the death of Tupac Shakur had nothing to do with the commercialization of entertainment. Nor is Sean Combs a cause of this, but merely the..... I'll say second most pertinent example. His pal Mace of course being the first.
