Is insanity a requirement for FOX News?
« on: Jul 08, 2005, 09:16:19 AM »
When the office GOP rah-rah guy sends something like this out, I know the world is on a tilt.  FOX News is usually the wind beneath his wings.

Quote
"My first thought when I heard - just on a personal basis, when I heard there had been this attack and I saw the futures this morning, which were really in the tank, I thought, 'Hmmm, time to buy.'"
- Fox News's Brit Hume,

That's right - his first thought after hearing about the awful terrorist attack in London today wasn't "how tragic," or "let's say a prayer for the dead," or "how can I help the victims" - his first thought was, there was a terrorist attack, how can I personally profit off it? In fact, his impulse to use the bloodshed to make himself money was so intense, he actually voiced it on national television (FYI - in case you'd like to voice your displeasure, Brit's email address is brit.hume@foxnews.com  and his office number is 202-824-6300).
Tortures end me,
Death befriends me.
Of all the pains, the greatest pain
is to love, and love in vain.

unfortunately, i can assure you that he is not the only one who thought that way. the only mistake he did is having balls to say it(im not saying that what he said was right, but he said it while other people would just kep it to themselves)

I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

Too bad you missed this boat; however, a smart enterprising man such as yourself should have no trouble finding other investment opportunities in the ever-profitable realm of human suffering.  I understand child prostitution in Thailand is quite lucrative.

Considering his close ties to the current administration, I'll let you know if the Secret Service knocks on my door.  :P

They'd be more likely to hand you over to the CIA, or NSA. Then you'll be in real trouble. Secert Service usually only deals with direct threats to the President.

Maybe Bernie's into counterfitting, too.  That would explain the Secret Service presence.

I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;
We been running for awhile. Why don't you lay dow, I'll make you smile.
I could never ask for nothing better than this;
It's just tequila and the beach, it's quite salty when we kiss.

Doubtful. Even if this was some sort of orchestrated plot to try to push public support in Britian back to a pro-war feeling, it's doubtful the President knew anything about it.That way if it comes out a group like the CIA, or NSA or even MI-5 had something to do with this attack, there will be a clear cut scapegoat and leave the leader themselves untouched.

And I think a better question then why am I back, is why are you still here? =P

By Bush, I mean his administration. He's a puppet and that's evident from... everything. Otherwise I'd look into the wonderful Carlyle group whom is the prime supplier of weapons and mercs to the Iraqi operation, which surprise, Britain is backing out of. Now there is a summit where pollution and poverty trump war plans, and OMG!1!1one the terrorists attack again.

It's too fuckin coincidental.

And Nuri won't ban me unless I do something really bad. But I don't think it can match whatever you did.

One suspected bomber was arrested a while ago in Leeds.

British army bomb disposal experts earlier carried out a controlled explosion to gain access to a house in the Hyde Park area of Leeds.

Ha ha, I have no idea who Brit Hume is nor do I care what he said, but I do find amusement in that his name is Brit.  And I guess Hume's kinda funny, too.
