Totally Spies is one of those shows I can sometimes watch. Martin Mystery I found by accident, and it too appears to be watchable on an episode by episode basis. TvTome says that the sister character was the fiancee in the comic or something like that... anyone know because that's..... just gross.

I get the feeling Martin Mystery the show is a very, very loose interpretation of Martin Mystère the comic, more like a modern reimagining of the original concept, really. So I wouldn't be surprised if they removed the love interest aspect and replaced it with a more kid-palatable sibling rivalry.

That's pretty much always the case. I mean, look at the original TMNT in comparison to their original cartoon counterparts. They were beer-swelling, cursing, limb-chopping ninjas. They were pretty goofy by comparison in the cartoon.

My friend Dave has the Cybersix comics. They're Belgian or something. Anyway I haven't read them and don't intend to because I don't really like the show in the slightest bit but yeah... he would probably know.

I remember Xyber 9 by name only. I also remember looking forward to Cybersix only to have Fox kill it before much of it ever aired. =\

And if that's so, they didn't have to make her his sister. She could've just been a friend. Now it's all incesty. Don't the French have enough problems?

Yeah that's the guy. And how did you figure it was him? Do you know what he looks like?

But yeah... I can not imagine he would do such a thing and if he did then he would have had to hide it from me.

And apparently the French don't have enough problems since here in Canada sthey seem to enjoy making new ones for themselves like the whole seperation issue or going out of their way to go through a lot of trouble to do things differently than the rest of Canada.
