'kay, since this is sorta the Harvey thread. Harvey made landfall again, but much further east. To show you the true variability of SA's weather, over the weekend we were forecasted to have rain the entire subsequent week. Now the forecast is suns with highs in the 90's and not a cloud in the sky since Tuesday. This is, like, NORMAL weather for us: where the east (Houston, LA) gets slammed with water and we have hot and sunny volleyball weather. I didn't want us to flood over here, but really wanted more rain than what we got. There's always Invest 93L in the Atlantic that may come into the Gulf and give us a bit of moisture.
But, really, this storm could've been super dangerous for SA since we can't handle large deluges of water. Not Houstonian levels, but, honestly, I don't know why anyone ever bothers living in Houston anymore.
