It might never see release. That movie has been in the can for months now and as far as I know it still doesn't have a release date. They just missed the post Christmas/ Pre-Summer time frame where they push a lot of these movies they aren't sure about...so they'll probably hold off till the sept-nov area to throw this one out if they ever do.

So as an apples and oranges exercise, what's worse, new Jem or new Sailor Moon?

Did anyone watch the new Sailor Moon? I forced myself to sit through the first episode and I thought it was just awful. It's this new thing that's not even as good as the old thing!

Where's aDam? I need to hear his thoughts now.

Sorry about the derailment. I'm aware of this Jem thing, but I was never really big on Jem in the first place so it doesn't bother me much. When you think about it though, it's kind of just following the trend. Remember when we were kids most of the characters in our cartoons and comics were all grown men and women? Now they're all teens or younger. It's not that surprising.

I haven't read an Archie book since junior high. Since then it seems it's been all about how many ridiculous crossovers they can come up with, or how PC they have to be or how many shocking twists they can come up with for media attention. I guess this is the latest one? At least it doesn't look as desperate as the last attempt to modernize Archie....
