And I can go back to not watching any of it.  The Olympics was my only excuse to watch anything on TV that wasn't through an app stream.

I'm sick of waiting for Arrow, SHIELD, and Archer to resume.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Putin: "Now that Russia Olympics over, I can let loose. Begin invasion of Terrorist Ukrainian State with our Glorious Russian People's Army."

So totally called it.

Archer I can agree with, I haven't seen Shield, but Arrow?
For some reason, maybe it's from all the ads I saw of it and having seen only one episode, but the main character on this show seemed to bug me a bit. Seemed too much of a cocky, preppy frat boy attitude from what I picked up. Mind you, I had only seen ads and one episode, though. And maybe part of it is I missed the awesome blonde goatee the comic Green Arrow sports. However, the action on that one episode I saw did seem pretty good.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

I don't watch a lot of on-going television series, but I like Arrow quite a lot. Basically it's Batman with a bow & arrow and a family in Florida. It's a good show with a lot of subtle (and not-so subtle) DC fanservice. They're gearing up for a spin-off series based on The Flash next season.

The attitude you picked up on is largely from his civilian persona: Oliver Queen was a playboy before his life-changing experience on the island where he learned to fend for himself...not to mention a whole lot of other stuff revealed slowly throughout the show. He maintains that persona while moonlighting as a vigilante who goes around killing bad guys with an arrow in the chest (until the second season, anyway).
