Rabbits fuck like crazy.  Eggs are a sign of birth.  Both are related to the idea of spring and rebirth which are part of the spring celebration which existed prior to the Jesus myth coopting those celebrations.

Perhaps a better statement would be I don't understand what the death of Jesus has to do with Spring.  The answer is rebirth.

What most people don't realize is that everyone who goes to church on Sundays is celebrating the resurrection every week. The only reason there's a yearly is because the pope needed something to replace the pagan crap and give his people one more stupid obligation to live up to if they ever want to get out of purgatory and providing feast days kept them on-board.
