Probably because as dumb as it sounds, the victim's family could create some frivilous lawsuit on how using an unsterilized needle was "cruel and unusual". While they're probably covering bases, it's still fucking stupid.

I'm eagerly awaiting news of the lawsuits from families of OTHER people in that hospice who have had to put up with all the chanting, drum-beating, bullhorn-hollering backwoods country fucks outside. If I had a loved one in there trying to pass his/her last days peacefully, as is the main purpose for hospice, there'd be some signs up people's asses. Or the firehose out the window. :angry:
