Been there, done that and it doesn't bother me.
I don't know if I have a thing that me...like blood or snot or something like that. I just know I'm deathly afraid of snakes, but I have a very good story about why.

Ok, when I was like 8. I was playing outside. And there is this like really short retaining wall in the backyard. It is like 3 foot tall on one side, but only 3 inches tall on the other. There was a board propped up on 3 inch side and I was just taking a break and I was laying on the board just enjoying my summer vacation, when I notice something moving off to my right.
I look over and there is a Copperhead less then like a foot away coming straight at me. Know a Copperhead is pretty much the most poisonous snake we have in this area. If this thing decides to bite me, which would have been around my head and neck, I could die before they can get me to a hospital. So this thing is just coming at me and I'm froze. It does under the board I'm laying on, right under my neck and then out the other side and down into it's snake hole that was right there. After he we was all the way in the ground, I sprung up and booked it out there. The my depression era "This is how you kill a snake ya pussy!" (she didn't actually say that) Grandma, dug it up and killed...but I was pretty much scared for life and I can't even walk through the snake era of Petco now. And it is really the only animal that does that to me. I'm not scared of spiders, or bats, or any of those other typical "scary" animals. Just snakes.
