How can anyone in good conscience support or justify this given the deficit, not to mention that troops in Iraq were essentially told to suck up and quit bitching by Rumsfeld regarding not being properly equipped to fight?

Anyway, there are inaugural committees that pay for the ceremony, not to mention the people who buy tickets to attend the event. They broke even at the 2001 inauguration which cost $40 Million, they'll probably do it again. If you want a company like Coca Cola to donate money to the troops, fucking write them.

The reason Coke is number one is because they give so much money away. Instead of hording it, Coke manages to outspend their rivals and remain number one. They know how to do their shit.

RC Cola is firmly ingrained in Southern tastes, having originated in Georgia. I have people specifically ask for it all the time at events.

Interesting note: Dr. Pepper made the traditional way with cane sugar is still available in Waco. Everyone else gets cr0n syrup. The sugar version tastes a hell of a lot better.

I like fountain sodas only because I usually can't handle soda being so strong such as it is when packaged individually. And most fountain stuff is like two degrees removed from flat.

While I sometimes crave Dr. Pepper, I'm a Barq's Rootbeer kinda girl. (Though I prefer Coca Cola with my icecream.)

I bought a bottle of ramune the other day. The bottle is cool, but you have to know how to handle them to keep from spewing carbonated stickum all over you and the surrounding area. I was disappointed that the flavor I got wasn't worth the effort in opening it. Cool bottles, though, with the marble and all.

Did it clean the grill? Coke is used to get blood off the asphalt after wrecks.
