I understand that Youtube and Google are now linked or whatever but I had been able to stay logged into YouTube and not be logged into Google.  This suited me just fine.  Well, I went and accessed my gmail account linked to YouTube and when I logged out of it, I was logged out of YouTube.  So now I can't just be logged into YouTube.  What a pain in the ass.  If I had known that would've happened, I would've never logged back into that gmail account.  Fuckity fuckity fuck.  That's balls.  I just logged out of YouTube now and plan to stay that way for the most part, but I liked being logged into YouTube with not Google-strings attached.  I'm just glad I never connected Facebook and YouTube.

Also, I'm not seeing any links to access cached pages when I Google search.  Boo.  I liked being able to access those and then choose text only so I wouldn't have to see some shitty pictures or have ten different videos/widgets/gifs loading the fuck on.

Along with Google instant popping up once too often, Google telling me what I want to search, and clicking the dead space next to a link and bringing up a damned page preview, Google's starting to creep onto my shit-list.

I had the same problem.  Didn't log out of youtube in a while, then, all the sudden, I needed some google account to get in.  But I couldn't reset my options to make it, because I no longer have the email I used to create my current youtube account after they banned my first one.  Yet, I couldn't get in to do anything, because they logged me out from their end.  So I was basically fucked.  But somehow I ended up linking it to a nonexistent gmail account to get back in.  So if anyone ever registers my gmail account, I guess I'll be fucked again.  I don't want a gmail account.  I don't need it.  I have a roadrunner account for all my shit.

I have like eight or nine gmails and chell them almost never now, but each one serves (or served) a separate function.  And all of my shit is linked to different ones.  Youtube, blogger, google+ and what have you.  I'd stay logged in if it didn't also keep me in for when I search.  Fuck that shit.
