From what I read on some other article (I was at work and don't remember the url or I'd link it), he signed a consent form of some kind that pretty much gave the doctor permission. Never mind that he's more or less illiterate. While I would like to think they did their best to explain it to him, I can't help but imagine it was like an iTunes agreeement where he just okay'd it and everyone moved along without a thought.
He had to sign a form consenting to the circumcision, but apparently not the chopadickoffomy.
Now, if he signed a form with it written on there that they might have to do that, and he didn't read it because he was illiterate or lazy or plain stupid, his third leg has no legal leg to stand on.
