Man, nothing this week seems to have gone right....

Our screen door is broken. My mother went out and had a brand-new screen door installed because the old one was falling apart. Then, one night around 11pm, we got home to find the screen door jammed shut and we couldn't open it.

Some neighbors having some kind of bonfire in their grill came over to help us, and after about 30 minutes or so in the cold, we were able to pry the door open.

That wasn't the end of it. Tonight, the door got jammed shut again, but this time we had keys for the back door. From what I can tell, the door is crooked and locking into some new mold they screwed in, so I had to unscrew the mold to keep us from being trapped outside of our house a third time.

Mother hasn't paid for door, and I refuse to hand over a penny until those bastards fix it so we won't get locked out of our fucking home. :angry:

Second, the weather's freezing here, down to single digits. It's screwed up my current car. Even after letting it warm up, when I got on the main road it refused to accelerate and took about 1 minute to get up to 50mph. Same thing happened when I was coming home, for the first 5 minutes of driving, the car took forever to accelerate. I bet the transmission was frozen.

Third, on my last day of class, my teacher was supposed to be there so I could turn in my journal for 100 points. He wasn't there. Asked a guy in the office who said he had seen him 5 minutes ago. Seems the bastard decided to go home early. Since the journal could mean the difference between passing and failing, I put it in his mailbox. He better take it, or I'll sue the school for him not showing up.

And I still haven't gotten a response from the school I'm trying to transfer to. This late, I probably won't get the classes I want.

My mom had that same problem a couple days ago. It turned out to be the alternator.

HA! I can see it now! "I've had my crappiest week ever guys. I had to fucking sit outside of the mall for two hours waiting for my friends to finish their shopping. Sarah and Kelly were harrassed by this mean kid who I told to stop being mean. The day was going great from there until this Goth kid and then a black kid looked at me funny. I felt judged. My friends and I decieded it was a good time to go cry a river in the car."

I had my alternator checked in november, it was fine then. <_<

If the tranny was frozen up, you'd have never got it in gear to start with. The motor was just cold and took a while to warm up to normal temperature. Unless you'd been running it under load (i.e., warming up with the accelerator pushed down), it really won't warm it that well...that just gets the heater warming the inside. This is by design, preventing the car from spewing so much unburnt gas out the exhaust, which is better for fuel economy and the environment.

Gah! Why must the most annoying things happen to me this week!

My financial aid at the Community College is running out so I decided to transfer schools to a university. In mid-late November, I sent in an application and told my college to send over a transcript.

I just got a letter from the university that they haven't recieved the transcript yet! Not only did my college not send the transcript even though I filled out an order form for one, but they took over a month to tell me! Now there's little time for me to transfer!!!

I'm gonna drive over to my college, beat them up and torture them, find out why they didn't send the transcripts, and if they don't give me a satisfactory answer, I'll kill them all.
