People have to be weaned off the idea that driving is a right. The fact that you own a potential 3,000 lb. weapon of mass destruction doesn't mean you can just drive however the hell you please.

You should have to pass a tough written test (eliminate the stupid), run an obstacle course (eliminate the slow responders), and do it every year to make sure you got it. They do it for motorcycle licenses (except for the every year thing), why not regular cars?

OMG, I can not adequately describe the HATE I have for people who don't realize it's a privilege. That they get behind the wheel and are just 'meh, whatever' about it. And then when they get a ticket it's a horrible breach of justice. "Those cops are just looking to fill quotas", "I was victimized", "It wasn't my fault"....

Several years ago, I was talking to someone who had just gotten a ticket for speeding. I liked what she had to say about it: "Oh, well, this'll just have to make up for all those other times I was hauling ass and didn't get caught."

There was no new episode on Wednesday. They don't start back up until January 5th.

Really? Yay! And here I thought I missed something.

And I think it's a great idea. The first thing I thought of when I first saw the show was that they should work with women, too. How Do I Look?, What Not To Wear, A Makeover Story, The Look For Less, Extreme Makeover, Style Court, Fashion Emergency, How Clean Is Your House?, Clean Sweep, Clean House, Mission Organization... Who's appearing in all of these shows? I see no evidence that women are so immaculate that five gay men can't make an improvement. Come back to Earth.
