And I wondered "why purple"? And I thought, "is it for all the bruises"? But no, purple represents spirit. If I had known, I would've worn purple at my job interview today. Funny enough, the people there were all wearing pink for breast cancer. Apparently, they'll protect boobs, just not gay boobs. Also this made me lol:

Spirit day is a new thing, it used the colour purple cause it represents spirit on the gay rainbow flag.
It was christened by GLAAD after the whole debacle of gay teens committing suicide lately because they were bullied in highschool, or some such.
I didn't know what the whole purple things was until I looked it up, that night.
I was wearing my purple *Irony* bracelet that day, but then I wear it every day.
