Fullmetal Alchemist Ending

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood will be ending in two more episodes.  In what appears to be rare feat, it practically coincides with the manga that ended just this month.  As far as endings go, it gets an A.  But you know me, I still find something to bitch about.  Spoiler tag for those who give a flying shit:

- Hohenhiem lives through all of that shit just to run off and go die at the end.  I'm not sure if his philosopher's stone ran out at the end and he died as a result, or he just offed himself.  I think he did the latter and that blows.  I think the author may have been leaning at having Hohenheim use up the last of his life in order to get Al back, and that would've made more sense and given his death meaning.

- Roy Mustang should've stayed blind.  First Jean Havoc's wheelchair renders him useless, now Roy's written off being being blind.  Roy should've been the new Daredevil alchemist, using blind powets and shit.  Instead, he's given a stone to fix everything, which is not congruent...

- ...to the fact that Ed and Al emphasized the stones were made of ppl and they would do anything but use them to get their bodies back.  Then a few pages later, Roy uses it for his eyes.  Whatev.  Ultimately, why the fuck not, but it felt like cheating.

- No Roy/Hawkeye action.  Minor complaint, just saying.  I would have liked to see a hint of something in their future at least and it just appeared to be status quo.

- Ed gives up alchemy to get Al's body back.  Al had given up himself to get Ed's arm back.  1) Why didn't Ed give up alchemy earlier and avoid this mess?  2) If Al sacrificed himself is an arm all Ed gets? 

- Why the fuck does Pride live?  WHY. THE. FUCK.  So if Wrath or Lust had been a child, they would have been permitted to live?

- Greed dies in the last chapter making a heroic sacrifice because he finally understands friendship or some shit.  Maybe it'll be cooler animated, but it seemed kinda lame to me.

- Really didn't care for the Mei/Al ship at the end.
