Merla and I celebrated Schmoo's b-day today and I picked her a Hoops and Yoyo card, which has these two little characters and their squeaky voices as audio when you open the card.  Merla was saying she heard one of the Hoops and Yoyo cards was pulled and, sure enough, one was pulled for being racist.  How you may (or may not) ask?  Because apparently some oversensitive black ppl (all old from what I saw) insisted the damn card was calling them "black whores".  FTW?  Hallmark says the character was saying "black holes".  With talk of planets and Saturn also existing in the card, there is clear basis for that as well as the fact that a big company like Hallmark is not gonna be that fucking stupid.  I don't even hear an r unless I'm supposed to be hearing for Engrish.  Context ppl: why the fuck would a "black whore" receive a graduation card?  Come on now.  Crap like this damages the NAACP's reputation and their cause.  Ghey.

“Last I heard, free speech is protected. If women want to ‘punish’ Mel Gibson, they can individually not fund him by not attending his movies, etc,” WOW spokeswoman Abbie Vianes told us. “There are bigger villains to catch - like those involved in trafficking women and children, those participating in female genital mutilation, and those raping women and girls in refugee camps.”
