Not really sure about this whole cats used to work for mumm-ra angle.

The aesthetics of his character just scream this guy is pure evil you should know better.

If they wanted to do this then there should've been a time when mumm-ra wasn't so busted in the face.

We got Jackalmen. Monkians. Reptilians. Vulturemen. Elephant dudes. Tigersharks. Mon*Star. Sword of Plundarr. Feliners and Thundertanks. Nice origin story, explaining why they were with Mumm-Ra and how they got to 3rd Earth.

Yeah, this episode was amazing. Not sure how I feel about the funky armor, but I dug all the spacy shit.

The pessimist in me feels like we're about due for some more sidetracky bullcrap, i.e. the ThunderCats encounter a tribe of beaver people and Lion-O learns the value of carpentry, etc.

Or maybe it's gonna be solid gold from here on out.

Probably more like somewhere in between.

I'm just trying to figure out the "Mumm-Ra the Space Mummy" angle here.

I reckon that we're overdue for another filler episode showing Lion-O's personal growth. Now if it's Berbils and not beaver people, we might be talking. I'm all for the fan-wank.

But the last line of the episode..."we have to unite the animals," makes me worry. So now, for the foreseeable future, he's going to be going tribe-to-tribe trying to make them impress them with his immature pluckiness enough to get them on-board to fight Mumm-Ra. It depends on how they handle it...it could be epically awesome with a side of fries.

I hope we actually see another Thundercat longer than five seconds in the next one, though.

I want to see a mumm-ra origin ep that shows what he was before...and it will be HUMAN! That's right were the ultimate evil in the universe!

But then we'll find out that there are still good humans in the universe as well and they will be the silver hawks.

I'm more than a little apprehensive about the tribes thing myself. It makes me think we aren't going to see a proper "mutants" grouping of Slythe, Jackalman, Monkian, and Vultureman, which would be an atrocity.

I thought it might be cool to own some of the toys, but they don't look all that hot. $:-\$

I liked this episode too but if you're not a Thundercats stan like me, there's no reason to keep watching the show. It's still better than Clone Wars though.

And it was a good episode. I really liked it too. I'm gonna stick with it, mainly cause I don't usually do anything on Friday night and I have the channel and I want this to get better because I like Thundercats.
