Well, I was so busy oozing over the new St*r WarzzZZ trailer and sneak peeks, that I forgot to mention that Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex will be on Adult Swim saturday along with Full Metal Alchemist.

I don't know whether to be excited or not. The GitS chick's kinda cute. And I heard FMA is good, but meh... Witch Hunter Robin, Read of Die, lame Animatrix, even my beloved Wolf's Rain, their anime picks radar's been a little off.

FMA was awesome. And yeah, the GTS chick's voice blew. I liked her English voice in the movie better for some reason.

Ugh, they shat all over FMA.

Lust's voice sucks, Al says "Ed" and "Edward" instead of "Brother," Ed mentions CHEMISTRY (which does not exist in the FMA world), the voices are hard to hear (on my tv at least), the fonts are ugly, and they totally fucked up the end credits by poorly mixing in clips from the first intro and playing music from the 2nd intro, AND speeding it through so the song just fades out.

I liked the American VA for her. I also liked the dub for both.

The American VA sounded like the same one used for Bastard!!'s Arshes Nei and Fushigi Yuugi's Nuriko. I kinda like her voice but it sounds kinda weird and old. And I was put off by her outfit. Can't you put on a coat or something when you go into the office?

FMA was somewhat amusing. It kinda seems like its treading familiar waters though. It has the feel of tons of other animes. Meh.

Both were all right, but I don't think I'll care if I miss future episodes.

I agree with the thread title - "gits" on Adult Swim. No more Case Closed and yet another round of Witch Hunter Robin. Let's just start Inuyasha over from episode 1 while we're at it. :angry:

And to think not long ago I loved Inuyasha so much. Now I'm just sick of it. Unless it has Kagura in it, I can't even watch it anymore. Wolf's Rain I liked (of course) so I'm having fun watching that again, though I understand perfectly if other people don't. Witch Hunter Snoozefest is just a break to not watch anything and may as well be a test pattern. Wolf's Rain should have that last slot and Case Closed should be there somewhere after Venture Brothers. Family Guy and Futurama are feeling kinda tired. I'm not really complaining though, since anything's better to me than Aqua Teen and Sucklab.
