Matthew D. DuBois has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Mikarah Sanders.

KOMO News normally does not identify juveniles accused of crimes, but prosecutors have charged DuBois as an adult.

According to court documents, DuBois was angry at Sanders because of a comment that an ex-boyfriend had left on her MySpace page.

The two were arguing at an apartment complex at 12445 Ambaum Boulevard SW on New Year's Eve, and Mikarah was shot once in the face.

Another girl who was in the apartment initially told police that the DuBois was not the gunman, but she later recanted her story and said she lied at DuBois' request because she was scared of him.

She eventually told investigators that she was in another room when she heard a single gun shot. She looked into the other room and saw DuBois on top of Mikarah, and he told her to call 911, the documents said.

The girl said DuBois then shot himself in the shoulder, told her to lie to police, and went to a different apartment.

Mikarah, who had been shot in the head, was rushed to Harborview Medical Center where she later died.

Neighbors have said that the couple argued constantly before the shooting.

DuBois has prior juvenile convictions for witness tampering, unlawful posession of a firearm, burglary, and auto theft.

He is currently in serious condition in the intensive care unit at Harborview and is scheduled to be arraigned January 13.

If convicted as charged, he could face up to 25 years in prison, prosecutors said.

As to the OT question, I kinda use it. But God, why the fuck do people have kill each other over this stupid crap? I'm tired of hearing about insecure, immature couples getting into arguments (some my fucking age, I have to add. This is why I never add a boyfriend to my facebook page. Oh the drama that that would create (and have created before btw). Thank God you have an option to not let anyone see your tagged pics, I would probably be disinherited if my dad saw some of those haha. Good times. Anyways I just deactivated my account, so guys, don't think I blocked/deleted you. I'm just going to be chilling without fb for a little.

Ha, I was wondering who I lost.

Someone I know irl is always deleting her accounts, I imagine because of a boyfriend of whatever. One time the jerk actually deleted the account. And then there are other people who are always "moving" accounts. I mean, if you stop starting crap with people, maybe you wouldn't have to move around so much.

The only fam I have on my FB is my older brother and his wife. My parents are waaaay too old to be using such sites.
I had my little brother added at one point but he never even uploaded a profile pic so I had to delete him.

My parents don't have the time or the know-how for Facebook or anything like that. I don't mind friending relatives since it's usually just my maternal cousins or something and I don't care if they know what I'm up to. I did think about friending a couple of my former professors but decided against it.
