I wear nice jeans more often than not. I only wear slacks with a matching dress jacket. Otherwise, why wear just slacks?

I saw a dude today who was dressed in a nice shirt and slacks and I thought, "well, he looks sharp" and then I looked at his feet. Sandals. Ratty ones, too. Bleh. It looked like somebody mugged him for his shoes and a buddy loaned him the flip-flops rotting in his car so he wouldn't be barefoot.
