I actually opened this with raised eyebrow since I didn't think you, or pretty much anyone else here (myself included), would actually watch them. But then at the same time I've seen people here watch worse things.

I've never watched them before. I remember I only watched the "red carpet part" years ago when I had a crush on David Duchovny and the X files were nominated .

I actually didn't remember they were on either.  Schmoo is celeb-crazy though and there's nothing she likes better than awards-shit.  I was watching the end of Return to Cranford on Masterpiece Theater.  Next week: Emma.  ;D

Anyway, just curious if someone here actually watched it this year.

I got an e-mail from ENI that had the winners. Pretty much all were expected, but I didn't think Avatar would actually be picked for anything.
