Happy Korean-American Day!
« on: Jan 13, 2010, 06:11:46 PM »
Notable Korean-Americans include Jim Lee, Jae Lee, crazy Peter Chung, black Power Ranger Johnny Yong Bosch, Margaret Cho, John Cho, Rick Yune, pro pool player Jeanette Lee, Karen O. of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. R&B singer Amerie, golfer Michelle Wie, and ABC News's JuJu Chang.

My suggested mode of celebration is to slap some kimchee inside a hamburger bun.  Or if you would like, you can always go Ask a Korean! instead.

Jeez. So, in other words, based on this list, if Koreans went extinct, 99.99% of America (and probably less of the world) would neither notice nor care. Lucky they got a whole day.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I plan on celebrating by splitting this day right down the middle after a bloody war.

What about unbridled rape and destruction? Don't worry, they'll get over it with a nation-wide wireless service to forget the horrid history of China and Japan just devastating the cocklet of a country.
I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;
We been running for awhile. Why don't you lay dow, I'll make you smile.
I could never ask for nothing better than this;
It's just tequila and the beach, it's quite salty when we kiss.

John Cho is Harold, and he loves White Castle.

The only one I can't place is Peter Chung, but I know I've heard the name. So it'll be one of those "Oh Yeah!" moments when someone tells me who he is.

So does this day celebrate North-Korean-Americans or South-Korean-Americans?

The mention of that show is gonna give me nightmares.

One day out 365.  Considering most Korean-Americans are Republican conservative Christians, maybe some percentage of America should try to care more, hmm?   :)

Touche. But it doesn't make what I said any less true. Or sad.
