Yeah, yeah - everyone in colder climes laugh. It's a freaking miracle in these parts. And we won't be sweating our wool & velvet-clad asses off tomorrow at Dickens on the Strand in Galveston.

Happy birthday to Merla & Sam and anyone else I missed. Apologies - not only am I now banned from RIAS at work as it's deemed a social site, but one of my dearest friends/coworkers finally lost the good fight with her H1N1/pneumonia-weakened bad lungs on Saturday. It had been a long haul, and I'm glad she's out of pain. I know how she would have breezed in the door this morning: "Holy SHIT it's SNOWING!!" Called our 6'4" UT football hero president a dumbass probably every day and he was crying so hard he couldn't finish the eulogy Wednesday. I love people like that.

Now 'scuse me while I make another absinthe and catch up on Suited Rabbit Land.

It snowed in NE around late October. Yesterday it was 68. Today it's 50. Tomorrow it's supposed to snow.

Yeah it snowed here a few days ago. Cold as fuck here right now. Saying we might get snow with some accumulation next week if something doesn't change. If it does just cold wet rain.

Snowed in Dallas yesterday, but not good snow. Just normal doesn't stick around snow. Luckily was not melt and freeze the roads snow.

I don't know if it snowed here. I definetely saw lotsa ice. One my cousins said there was a tiny bit of snow, but I didn't see it. My dad was up by Tyler and said there was some light snow there. Considering the area, probably the same weak-suck kind that Fiero got.

I'm freezing my ass off in this goddamn state. I'm trying to decide between going to NYC or TN. ny is going to be even colder so I'm not too much into it. And TN...I might get killed there. so hmm decisions decisions

I'm quite disappointed. We were forcasted to get hit wiþ about 15" last night. Instead, it was a few degrees too warm and we ended up getting a shitty rain/snow mix. Maybe 3" accumulation of ðe wettest, heaviest snow I've ever encountered. It sucked.

Warmed up here and everything melted. I also live in the hills and thus it doesn't effect me but I haven't heard anything about flooding. Course as a rule I usually don't watch/listen to the news.
