A Healthy Lunch
« on: Oct 14, 2009, 02:03:58 PM »
Today at work we celebrated my former Boss's birthday.  She is now my former boss because about two week ago there was some major a$$ restructuring of our department (but that's for another discussion).  Anyway I counted this little shindig as my lunch.  Today's lunch consisted of:

1 piece of chocolate cake with chocolate butter-cream frosting (probably ingested around 1,000 calories  ::) but it was good)
1/2 cup chocolate ice cream with chocolate pieces
1 chocolate chip cookie

and two hours or so later
2 fun size Twix bars (what the hell makes them fun anyhow)

I think I am going to go into anaphylactic shock now. :o

I think I am going to break the trend and have some cheez-its for dinner.

I'd eat Schmoo's pizza.

Schmoo didn't make it, Merla did: The lazy way with rye bread, spaghetti sauce, and a slice of cheese.

Ugh... Merla's pizza sounds nasty. Do not want.

I'd still eat Schmoo's pizza.

Then I'll have your chocolate cake for dessert.

Blast from the past!

I don't have any cake right now.  Eat out my apple muffin instead.

Yep, eat it right out of its paper muffin-cup.  If you remove it from the cup, it'll just fall apart and you'll get brown sugar everywhere.

God.

I can't wrap my mind around that metaphorical mess.

The brown sugar just confuses the hell out of me.

There's also cinnamon and nuts on top, but you don't find this out until you're about to eat it.

There's nothing wrong with walnuts!  They're full of protein and all diced up into teeny tiny pieces!

Let me tell you how to ruin a perfectly good baked good.

Put nuts in it.

Inconceivable! Why would anyone do such a thing?

But they're not in it, they're on top.  You can brush them right off.  BTW, fixed:

Put raisins in it.

The raisin is my most vile foe.  Powerless by himself, only foiling me by taking unsuspecting cookies and muffins hostage.  The bloody coward.

So nasty. It's like the cookie and/or muffin has these little organs that are popping between your teeth.

Foul. And I know people who swear by them.

"Mmm! Raisin cookies! So delish!"

Shut your mouths, sickos.

Schmoo learned quickly "why didn't you put raisins in them" was a stupid question.  Ew, they are like little organs.  Maybe if someone told me that earlier, I'd pretend I was eating a pilgrim's still-beating heart to gain his puritan powers instead of swishing the raisin in my mouth to remove the good crumbs and spitting it back out.

You're a far braver soul than I. I won't teach touch 'em if I know they contain raisins.

How about some chocolate chips next time? Hell yeah, now there's something everyone can enjoy.

Chocolate, peanut butter, white chocolate, dark chocolate, butterscotch... they're all gravy.  Butterscotch in oatmeal cookies is yum.

Hmm. I lied about the nuts.

White chocolate macadamia nut cookies are the greatest and best cookies in the world.

How did I know this wasn't actually about healthy eating.
I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;
We been running for awhile. Why don't you lay dow, I'll make you smile.
I could never ask for nothing better than this;
It's just tequila and the beach, it's quite salty when we kiss.

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
