Okay, okay, so Chicago lost. I saw the segment about it on ABC news and, dude, it was filled with nothing but bitter pills. Charles Gibson was ready to create bias left and right. The person he was interviewing did everything but openly bash the IOC. "The IOC is anti-American, they took away our baseball!!!1qfrewf" There's nothing exciting about a Summer Olympics in Chicago. What about deep dish pizza and Oprah Winfrey screams Olympics? We got Atlanta in 1996, Spain had Barcelona in 1992, and Tokyo has already hosted a game. The entire continent of South America hasn't had a single game. Bitches, please.

All it did was give Obama a very public black eye, which he really didn't need right now. He needed all the political capital he could get to bolster his aura of invulnerability after his UN weakness last week and the ongoing bloodletting over health care.

As for Chicago not getting it, not even half the people wanted it, and it was going to cost them an ass-load of money to get it and a bigger ass-load of hassle if they had. Silver linings to the supposedly dark cloud, that.

People aren't accepting that Obama could've blown every dick in the IOC and Chicago still would've ended up in last place. Rio was going to get it no matter what.

Nuri is kind of right. Although I don't care about argentinians so theres no hate there. But everybody is S.A. hates them cause they think they are the shit (their economy surely is). I just hate chileans and spaniards :-) Not too much hate, more disgust and repulsion than anything :-)
