Merla thought it would have to be horribly embarassing to have a pic like that of yourself exist.  On the other hand, if that was MY baby pic you couldn't stop me from making that my avatar.

Dude, of course it's supposed to be humorous.  Lamebook is screencapping shit people supposedly actually put in Facebook.  That woman just had her baby and daddy or someone else was there snapping pictures before they could even get the thing washed.  Then she stuck it in an album as some kind of magic moment.  Just be glad I didn't link Stoolbaby.

Still, what's wiş the OJ killing Michael Jordan joke?  Or Prince dying?

It was people thinking that was a picture of Jackson and posting it.

The Prince one was just someone's joke, but some people actually thought either Jordan had died or mixed his name up with Jackson's.  Putting it on OJ Simpson triples the funny because it plays on the idea that all black people look alike.

Boo hoo, I can't go to lamebook anymore.  Everytime I go now, I notice a bunch of random shit loading in my status bar.  Don't like, nope.  Don't like at all.  I would go to the lamebook tumblr site instead but then that one shut down.
