I haven't seen that.  Not that they still didn't completely ignore any possible validity in his accusation, but the story I've seen is "how wude!"  On ABC, he seems to complete a sort of weird trifecta with Serena Williams and Kanye.

Here you go...Maureen Dowd says she heard it as, "you lie, boy!"  Also, the House is moving forward with their vote on a resolution of disapproval against Wilson today. They want him to pull a Trent Lott and apologize again for it, and he has refused, saying that the one time is all he's doing.

The Republican party controls the insurance industry in Texas, so I know what my opinion at work has to be on anything related to the health care debate, whether it's my opinion or not.    The few times I've been around a political argument and it was obvious I was expected to make a comment, I've said, "You know, if we apologize and go back to England, we'll see Prince William on TV a lot more...." with a big grin.   Got me out of there safely every time.

Now, granted, I poor-mouth Obamascare, but I agree with the president that something needs to be done with the current insurance butt-fuckery that Americans are subjected to. There are better ways of doing it than putting the government in the middle of everything and taking over the industry while breaking the regional/state strangleholds held by insurance companies and empowering people to control their own health care.

So are all the cheap-asses that gives these illegals jobs instead of turning Pablo and Jose into INS and sending them home.  If you want your cheap fruit and nannies, then these people need rights.  They either need to be given some rights or denied employment and sent packing.  If no one hired them, they wouldn't come here!

I have worked at two restaurant jobs, and at both of them, the entire kitchen staff was hispanic/mexicans who barely spoke english. Odds are they were all illegal immigrants. I would bet you real money if you were to go to any popular restaurant chain, or hell, any restaurant at all, and you'd find the same thing. They slave them over a hot griddle for 12 hours a day and pay them $3 an hour. They don't bitch, they don't get benefits, they don't get vacations.

Gotta love all these fucking shitheads who whine about illegal immigrants stealing all our jobs, and then turn around and hire them because they're cheap exploitable labor like the Chinese are. You don't want illegals, don't fucking hire them.

There was a news item on the radio today about a guy who requested deportation, since he couldn't afford the ticket back to Guatemala. I couldn't help but chuckle a dark little chuckle at that...even the illegal guys aren't finding work these days.

The other problem is the illegals who present themselves with what seem to be legitimate papers. They're still willing to work for less, and that's really why companies hire them. Cut costs.
