I watched La Chèvre, an 1981 movie and another Francis Veber flick starring Gérard Depardieu. Depardieu is a detective sent to find an accident-prone rich girl missing in Mexico. The girl's father sends with him an equally accident-prone doofus in hopes his bad luck will mirror his daughter's and lead the detective to her. It made me lol. Movies don't usually do that much anymore.

As a side note, this movie was remade as "Pure Luck" starring Martin Short and Danny Glover in 1991 and apparently it has not been able on DVD until literally 12 days ago. FTW?

I forgot how much sheer unthinking fun this flick was...and how many people it had in it. Burt Reynolds,Roger Moore, Farrah Fawcett, Dom DeLuise, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Terry Bradshaw, Jackie Chan, Jamie Farr, Peter Fonda, and Mel Tillis.

Daybreakers

Decent flick if you don't want to think so hard. The concept is good, the story is fine, but they try to do the scienctific vampire thing, but still have the silliest parts of the myth, such as no reflection. Which makes no sense as several of them appear on tv. Unless things have changed, cameras use reflections, right? Maybe not digital ones, but whatever I may have that wrong. Also stabbing them with wood makes them explode. WTF. I did like the way the "cure" was administered, though.

I watched Rambo. As in the last one. It was excellent movie but it just felt too real for me to enjoy it like the previous Rambos. Lots of limbs being thrown apart, women and children being raped, mucho human swiss cheese. They even showed real dead bodies and such at the beginning (could've been fake, but I'm certain it was real news footage). It was very unsettling, which I'm sure is what it was meant to be. A good movie but not one I would personally watch over again any time soon. I really missed Richard Crenna, which seems to hit home the idea that Col. Trautman was John Rambo's last lingering connection to the outside world and helps explain both the latter's withdrawl (again) from Western society as well as the darker content in the last movie.

I'm not a big fan of Sly. This will make Faye hate me even more, but I don't see the appeal. I never liked Rocky, and Rambo was really lame.

It's really good so I think you should see it but be prepared if gratuitous carnage isn't your stack. For example, there's a bloated head with flies and dozens of corpses in Jew-stacks at the beginning, like real ones or something... just putting that out there.

I would always watch Rocky IV and not really pay attention to the other Rockys. It's been so long since I've seen Rocky anything. That's next in my queue behind three other items (two with waits). I'm still not sure if I'm gonna see Rocky V or skip it yet. I left it out of my queue for now.

Stallone, I think, is a kind of hit or miss guy. All in all, I enjoyed my foray into Rambo. To be honest, I don't think I had ever sat down and watched a whole one before Netflixing them all like I did. I remember them coming out or whatever all the time when I was younger and I'd always see the part where he's covered with leeches.

I actually did want to see Rambo went it was out. I may track it down, but I doubt I'll go out of my to see it. Course I watch Movies so much that I'm sure it's going to cross my path at some point.

But Carnage is my bag baby! Although I don't tend to enjoy Horror gore, but only cause they use for a cheap substitute for scare these days.

I didn't know Rambo was so gory! NICE.

Anyways, in the last two days I watched "The Fourth Kind". Scary if watched at night. Not all of it though, only some very short parts. At least scary to me, and I've watched a loooot of horror movies. Although I can't look at that Leelo girl as a serious actress anymore since she put all those naked pics of herself online.

The 2nd movie was Precious. Amazing. and FUCKED up. It's one of those movies that its so good but you feel bad for saying it since its completely fucked up. It really blew my mind, still thinking about it. Shit. Every single person in that movie did a magnificent work as an actor/actress, and yes, even Mariah Carey.
