I saw HP7. I can't even fricking remember what happened in the books, so half the movie was "did this happen in the book? Did this happen in the book? I think I remember this part..." But I think they were pretty faithful to the book because everything seemed familiar.

Also watched inception. Great movie, although I think it could have been better.
See, I can't speak for others, but when I dream the laws of reality and physics bend and break. In the movie it was impossible to tell the dream world from the real world. I was expecting a movie where reality was constantly changing, because the people in the dream were aware they were dreaming so were able to manipulate their world. Think of something and it appears. Want a bridge over a river, think it into existence and it appears. The world around you warps and changes.

The scene where Ellen Paige is showing off her skills, folding the city in half and stuff is the general idea of what I'm getting at, just taken to an extreme. However, they never too that idea to the rest of the dream sequences. It was like the producers said "Yea, we have millions of dollars to make this movie but we'll make a lame ass excuse that changing the dream angers the subconscious because we don't want to spend any of our millions on special effects.

The movie had a lot of potential that I believe was wasted.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

Someone brought this up, but I haven't had a chance to watch the movie again.

People are saying the top is his totem instead of hers, but in the last scene he is not wearing his wedding ring. Supposedly in every other scene where you know for sure it is reality he is also not wearing his wedding ring. Can anyone confirm that?

Watching Boondock saints 2.  This is really shitty compared to the first one.  It has a few moments where it seems it's the same writers (I haven't looked to see if it actually is).  I can't recommend watching this to anyone.

Also good call by everyone on men who stare at goats.

Just watched The Other Guys.  It had it's moments and I can say go ahead and watch it for free.

Dinner for Schmucks is great.  Very few things can make me actually ROBL (B is for bed because I don't roll on floors). And the scene where he goes turbo penguin is one of those things.

Dinner for schmucks
Adventure Time
The Mighty Boosh

These are the only things that have forced a genuine laugh out of me in the passed 3-4 years.  Everything else has gotten a "oh that was kind of funny I will laugh now" laugh.
These other things are genuinely funny to the general populace but to someone like me they're only passable.  Maybe I should go sniff glue to dull my superior sense of humor.

Yes this was a triple post, to quote Rob Bass and DJ EZ-Rock "You don't like it, so what I don't care".

Obama got elected and I didn't get my post editing privileges back even though they were wrongfully taken from me during the bush administration.

Amen, I had such high hopes for that movie. Inception should have been The Matrix times ten.

Same writer/Director combo. It seems anytime you try to make a sequel to a movie that has failed at the Box Office, and then gained cult status on video that sequel always sucks. Best example I can think of is The Crow: City of Angels. You just shouldn't make sequels to cult movies, they always fall short of the first one.

Commenting on this now, cause I watched a little of this movie tonight, but I had see it before.

I'm watching at this moment Micheal Jackson's This is It.

My biggest problem with Inceptcion is 1/3 of the movie was wasted hitting the nail over the head, telling the audience how it worked, via Ellen Page.   Ellen Page's character served no purpose other than a vehicle for the audience.

It sucks.  It really sucks.  I loved The Prestige, a movie the just assumed the audience got it, where as Nolan wrote this movie so even a pig fucker in Arkansas could understand it.  What's worse is that said pig fuckers seem to think their smart because they "got it" this time.

I saw most of Les Diaboliques the other day.  It had a good start to it but then it started to bore me.  After I watched the ending, it was perfectly clear that in those 40-something minutes in between I missed exactly nothing.

I recently watched Rango and Limitless. Rango is by far the best animated movie I've seen in years. I really hope it beats Cars2 for Best Animated Movie. Now Limitless, I'm gonna jump the gun and call it the best super hero movie we get this year. Unless X-men Firist Class proves me wrong. I hope it does but that movie was so rushed somethings bound to go wrong.

What about Cap? Thor? Green Lantern? And there must be other stuff that I'm forgetting.

Just kidding about GL. It just looks so depressing and unnecessary. How did it come this far? There's actually going to be a Green Lantern movie in theaters. Really think about that for a moment.

I predict GL will perform horribly, causing Ryan Reynolds to drop out of Deadpool in a "Fuck comic book movies"-style hissy fit.

I want Green Lantern to do well... I'm a big fan of the character. But it does look quite bad. Quite really bad. I still have hopes that it will look better when I'm there.

Maybe I'm way off base here. Maybe I just really don't care for Green Lantern, or the Corps, or any of that mythos. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, GL is WAY down the list when it comes to movie-worthy DC characters.

I'd rather have a Booster Gold movie. If I was sitting in a theater right now, and a Booster Gold trailer came up, I'd shit my pants.

Green Lantern? Blech.

Sofia Pernas. Never heard of her before.

I saw "Paul" today. It was pretty good. I was the only one in the theater, which was nice. I love it when I'm the only one there cause I can actually enjoy the movie without other people fucking it up for me. Also saw the preview for X-Men First Class which looks pretty awesome.

Is that streamable on Netflix?

I finally saw All-Star Superman.  It was okay but I don't feel the need to ever watch it again.

But couldn't you say the same for most of the stuff you watch? I know I could. Generally I'd rather spend free time watching something I haven't seen before. There are exceptions.

Such as The Fifth Element. Any time I'm flipping channels and that's on, I'll watch it. I love that movie. It's just so fucking weird, it never ceases to amaze me that it actually exists.

Clerks 2 is pretty damn good.

Unlike Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Bleugh.

Dogma's okay in my books, if only because it features Severus Snape and hot, middle-aged Linda Fiorentino.
