Mr. Leelo
« on: Mar 01, 2009, 09:15:35 PM »
Our sickly outdoor friend, Mr. Leelo, has passed on.  We met him about a year ago and he appeared to be feral and not used to people, but eventually warmed up to us.  We don't know how old he was but he was fairly young and was also FIV positive.  He sometimes disappeared but always returned.  Merla last saw him Wednesday.  His body was found today in a nearby drain.  R.I.P., little dude.

Did he really have the three dots on his nose or is that a camera thing?

He had 'em.  I don't know if they were necessarily natural or not.  But they were real cute.  It was like he was being targeted by the Predator or something.  Adorable.

Those three spots mean he was abducted by aliens.

Regardless, poor thing.

That's pretty cool. I wish my cat had some neat markings like that. All she has is the "Bitch Please" stare.

Leelo was a dude.  We thought he was a chick at first too because he was very small and feminine, so we had actually dubbed him "Lilly" and then had to alter the name later.  And that's a "I'm sick" face.  He had those a lot.  Leelo couldn't be "Bitch Please" 'cause Leelo didn't have an attitude.

I'll post the Leelo as Satan pic later.  That one was trippy.

Poor Leelo.  :(  But it's good that he had friends for his final year. We have an outdoor friend someone was supposed to take, but looks like he's ours now.  Eddie took him for fixin' after he came up for food with his cheek ripped open.  Didn't really want to put effort into naming a cat we weren't planning to keep, so we called him Morris (as in the 9-Lives cat) and now he responds to it.

That's what happened to both Leelo and Jorge.  We would've worked harder on the names if we thought they'd be sticking around for the long haul.

Better then getting to the vet and having not picked out a name and when they ask you the Pet's name you just say "ummmmm Kalie cause she is Calico. We can change it later." and then 6 years later you still havn't changed it.
