Exactly. That and Spongebob. I had no idea why there was so much Spongebob stuff till a buddy told me it's the 10th Anvi. of the show. Doesn't feel like it was that long ago.

I saw some Spongebob handsoap and it was clearly regular soap with a bright yellow label. That's so lame. They could've at least made the dispenser Spongebob-shaped or something.

Heard rumor of Alice in Wonderland movie coming out in a few years, directed by Tim Burton, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

I expect nothing short of awesome.

He's ok...but you are right he was lot a better. I do miss the kind of crazy and fun days of movies like Pee Wee's Big Adventure and Beetlejuice. Even a flick like Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow had it's charm, but I think he kinda lost it after that. I mean you could see him losing it with Hollow, but it still had some of the old spark in there. Not till Big Fish did I start to think he might not be giving it his all anymore.

So Sleepy Hollow was more of a quasi-return to form, but as far as I'm concerned he's been in a rut ever since.

I think he needs to stop using Depp, for one thing. It's like he's his fucking security blanket or some shit.

Lord knows Johnny doesn't need Tim.

Mars Attacks pissed me off. The Misfits wrote a song specifically for the damn thing they didn't even use.

Best part was "THEY BLEW UP CONGRESS! BWAHAHAHA!!!"

And yeah, I was disappointed with Sweeney Todd and I can't even really put my finger on why, considering I should have been delighted - Victorian atmosphere, great set work, loved the original musical. When even the presence of Alan Rickman doesn't make it a happy 2-hour place for me, that's bad. At least it already had a soundtrack written; otherwise Danny Elfman would have been remorphing the same 16 bars of music.

I just saw Star Trek on Friday and I have to say that it was pretty much awesome. Totally worth paying to see it in theaters, which is something I don't say often since Sidereel is my friend.
