Not ball related but Merla finally made the bread. She messed up the first time around because she substituted canned for shredded directly instead of using less. There was a thick layer at the bottom of the bread. The second time around it came out pretty good. I like my pumpkin muffins better though.

Or perhaps that was ball related.

I made it this morning with some autumn roast coffee and cranberry sauce (real sauce takes no effort, just dump the berries in a sauce pan with some juice and a spice-ball and let it simmer for 20 minutes).

Now me and Kary are sitting down to our meal. BIEN PRO HECHO!

Fresh shredded pumpkin you make yourself is light and full of air while the canned pumpkin is thick, heavy, and compact. If you need to use canned pumpkin to substitute for the three cups of fresh shredded pumpkin, you can't just use three cups of canned. You need to use less so you don't make the bread heavy and it cooks properly.
