Baby Borrowers

I actually think this may be a good idea considering how stupid some teens (and hell, some adults for that matter) are when they're thinking of having a baby. They only think of a baby being cute and cuddly and shit, and never consider that they'll have to take care of that baby for 18+ years, through teenage years and into adulthood, not to mention being woken up in the middle of the night, constant crying, diaper changing, the baby turning into a toddler and demolishing the entire house....

I Survived a Japanese Game Show

As retarded of a show this is, I find it amusing none the less because of the culture shock that all the Americans (ignorant yankees) have when they get on the show. Unlike them, I know very well how wierd and bizzare Japanese game shows can get.

America's Got Talent

I hate American Idol... in that show the whole thing boils down to one thing: Either you sing or you don't sing. In this show there's a variety of odd and unusual and crazy ass acts that people have, and it's the amazing abilities that the people have that make me enjoy this show. If it doesn't wow me, I'm not interested.

America's Got Talent wouldn't be that bad if the actual winners of the show were anything other singing 10 year olds. Might as well be American Idol Jr.

The singing ten year olds always win. That always pissed me off with Star Search.

Speaking of MXC, I saw that rip-off show Wipeout last week. (The one that comes out before the Japanese game show one.) It's not completely unwatchable. I was trying to kill an hour and I succeeded.

The singing 10 year old always wins because no one wants to break the poor 10 year old's heart by telling them they lost, and then having the kid start crying all cute like on the stage. Either that or all of america is like "Awww cute!" and votes for the kid due to his cuteness and not his talent. In any case, I think kids like that need a dose of reality. Let them lose, that way they grow up realizing that they won't win everything, and losing is part of life.

I forgot what MXC was until I looked it up. I remember that from when I had cable, and the fake dubbing that went along with it. I'd take Ninja Warrior over that anytime. At least the Ninja Warriors (the ones that pass the first stage at least) have some hardcore skills.

This week I missed half of Talent from watching MyHime. Next day I skipped on the rerun of Baby Borrowers and watched Wife Swap instead. There was this psycho OCD bitch who was so rich and snooty that she never let her kids play at all, she had them clean the house and do homework all the time, and she expected her house to be perfect and spotless. She gets swapped to a house where a Magician Family lived, and the house was a mess and she nearly had a heart attack. The worst part of it was when she was telling the magician father that he needed to get a "real" job... apparently magic shows aren't a real job because they don't make 100k a year (Penn: "Magic's not a real job? BULLSHIT!"). The guy's doing what he loves to do, making people happy... Eventually he told the bitch to get out of his house and she left.

I watched some of Baby Borrowers the other night at work. I thought that when the girls had to wear the baby belly things that they should have to take pills to make them all hormonal and pee all the time.

Then the black couple had a white baby and the white couple had a black baby. I thought that was pretty hilarious

Not till the last few month when the baby starts pushing on the bladder making you have to go more frequently.

These show's are one reason I'm okay with not having cable.
Though I keep hearing great things about Ninja Warrior. Wipeout's kind of funny, and the Japanese Gameshow one is...I dunno yet. Still on the fence.

I was watching Last Comic Standing last week...

I am glad to see God's Pottery off the show. They just weren't funny. There are plenty of Christian comedians out there, and yet these guys came on and were like "omg we have to be nice and RAINBOWS and PUPPIES" and shit. It was like they were christian and gay, and since christians and gays cannot coexist, they could have caused the entire universe to implode on itself. In any case their routine was stupid and I'm glad they got the boot.

The asian chick was hot though. I'm sad to see her go, but her material wasn't that funny, and she had the most annoying laugh. I would have told her that I'd rig the system so she won if she'd be my sex slave, but I think her laughing would turn me murderous.

Funniest people I think are the woman and the Indian guy.

Good lord, I agree with D on everything in that last post.

GP's whole shtick was "look, we're crazy Christian stereotypes, that makes us funny". There were barely any jokes there. I was annoyed they even made it as far as they did. I miss the hot Korean chick, but Iliza was funnier. I don't think I'll be watching LCS regularly though, because the channel comes in shitty and hurts my eyes half the time.

I watched Wipeout for the first time, and I'm confused because all the obstacles in the game seem impossible to get through oh wait let me guess, that's the point. Meh. It's somewhat entertaining but the part with the giant inflated balls just seems stupid since it's impossible to get through that.

At the end of America's Got Talent, I was shocked when the crowd started booing the singer at the end, who was obviously a pretty good singer. Even the judges looked back at the crowd with a WTF look on their faces. At least he got through, but if he didn't, I would have traded him up for that shitty Tina Turner impersonator.

One little Eskimo chick did actually defeat the giant balls. She did little frog hops from ball to ball, but she still did it. I haven't seen anyone get through both things of those mud-donuts though.

Kary's brother was sprited away by a her bornagain dad a while ago. The camp was creepy as hell sounding (they handed out Chick bibles, bashed Catholics and Jews, etc.) and spread this comedy. He came home after a week, mind afflutter with different stereotypes of middle America, including that comedy that was clean was funnier than traditional no-holds-barred comedy.

Needless to say after a month he was back to watching HBO comedy specials.

Two things I was thinking when I was watching Last Comic Standing last week:

First off, I remember Carrot Top as being this scrawny nerdy white guy. And then he comes on the TV show and he has no neck! He's so beef that bullets would probably bounce off his chest. It's as if he and IDE did a DBZ fusion and became a super comic.

Second thing was the fact that two of my favorite comics, Eliza and Papa CJ (the indian dude) were fighting to stay in the competition. I could have done without Foot, the british guy, but damn it all that the Indian guy got the foot too. boo

And because pictures speak louder than words:

When the fuck did this happen?
