It's a 4-day music festival in Tennessee. There's going to be some awesomeness there and I may not survive.

Yea, there will be like any drug I could ever want there but whatever. I don't want to get so messed up that I miss the acts that I want to see. Drinking will have to wait until the sun goes down because of the heat.

Leaving today! The boyfriend and I are driving to his sister's house to drop off his dog, and she only lives an hour from Midway airport (Chicago). Then we're flying to Nashville where our driving friends who left last night will pick us up. WOO!!

I could never do these concerts that go on for more than a day because, can you imagine how NASTY would the bathrooms be? cal me picky, but I hate those disgusting blue little square thingies (can't remember their names) . I remember before I went to Live 8, I didn't drink ANYTHING since the night before, I didn't want to have to pee (and thank god i never did).

I heard they were trying to get people to register to vote during this thing. So you can go out and get plastered and wake up next to a voter registration card and have no idea how you got there.

A port-a-potty? I'm always afraid when I use them-- aside from the germs and the smell of course-- that some a-holes are gonna come along and tip that puppy over. Those things are rancid.

I just think the whole thing is filthy as fuck. Everything stays UNDER the darn thing, it doesn't disappear through sewage or anything. disgusto!

Back! Yea the porta-potties were pretty nasty but they did a decent job of trying to keep them clean. It's just hard with like 50,000 porta potties for a bazillion people.

There were so many fucking people there, like equivalent to the population of a decent sized town. A lot of crazy hippies though, and I saw my fair share of boobies.

The Raconteurs and Death Cab were AAAAMAAAZINGG!! Pearl Jam and Metallica were also really good but I wasn't as excited to see them.

My boyfriend and I went to go see Janeane Garofolo, but apparently you had to get tickets somewhere to even be guaranteed a seat.

Chris Rock was on the main stage though, he was awesome.

I guess the lineup worked since Metallica was much louder. I could still hear them in my tent about 1 1/2 miles away.

"Exxiit light, enter night... take my hand, we're off to Never Never Neverland".

The mantra for the weekend became "Kanye Sucks" because Kanye West was supposed to perform his Glow in the Dark tour at 2:45 am, but had to keep pushing back his set to 3, then 3:15, then 3:30, etc supposedly because of problems setting up his stage. Apparently, Kanye also wanted Phil Lesh, the bassist from the Greatful Dead to end his set early so that Kanye could go on, but then he didn't even perform until 5 in the morning. People were pissed because they stood around for two hours and had no idea what was going on - he could at least come out on stage to say something.

It was so ridiculously hot, and you couldn't walk anywhere without being offered drugs. My boyfriend's roommate bought a Dead hat and not even two minutes later some dude came up to him looking for LSD. There are mounted police officers, so when you walk by people they mutter "Doses.. rolls... mollies... doses... nugs?" so nobody else hears them. I heard so many phrases for drugs that I didn't even want to know what they were. Crazy shit.
