Kang: Fooling these Earth voters is easier than expected.
Kodos: Yes. All they want to hear are bland pleasantries embellished by an occasional saxophone solo or infant kiss.

Well you should vote for McCain then, cause only an act of god is going to get Hillary the nomination.

Change so profound that the word gained a new definition...more of the same but with Democrats fucking everything up instead of Republicans.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I lost my love of the DNC after 2007. We gave them majorities to do things, and I understand they don't have a fillabuster-proof majority. They have done nothing. Now the leaders support Obama, I see nothing good coming from a term of his presidency. People really can't vote for a person out of anger.

Hillary is gonna sit there and erode him away until the convention. She has every right to, and no one will make her drop out until she wants to. Now I know people compare that to Bush in Iraq... which has been happening alot with her lately, but regardless of that silly comparison she should sit there.

I fail to see how Clinton will electrify the rednecks in America, but a black man with a muslim name born from an interracial couple won't.

Did you mix "will" and "won't"?

I'm not on board all this crap about her dropping out either.  I agree that she was right in sticking it out as much as possible.  Dammit though, Obama's only 47 away.  I really don't know which one is worse, him or McCain.  =\  Obama's all "change we can believe in" but what change!?  It sounds like he's coined his "I'm lovin' it"/"Just do it" catchphrase and just ran away with the nomination from that.  Did he even DO anything as a senator?

Pass energy bills that favor the energy corporations... which support him. Oh wait, he doesn't take money from lobbyists. The corporation employees just donate to his campaign freely. Donating does nothing but feed the media corporations, anyways.

I find it creepy many who supported Bush in 2000, support Obama. They know he's the DNC Bush.

I'm not voting this year, unless it's for Bob Barr.  To hell with McCain't and the Obamanation.

The way I see it, everything's going to melt down in the next four years. Whoever wins this year is doomed.  Being on the conservative side, I'd just as soon the Democrats defeat the moderate Republican candidate and captain the sinking ship straight onto the shore of a massive victory for a renewed conservative Republican party in 2012.

The only thing that gives me pause is the damage that can be done in that four year period...it'd be tough to rescue the government (not to mention the rest of us) from the Obamanation's outright socialist designs.  For me, Clitton's more desireable than either front-runner, but that's like asking if I'd rather get fucked in the ass or in the pee-hole.

The only way out of the country being shot to hell in the next few years is an asteroid destroying Washington, D.C., during the '09 State of the Union Address.  That'd take care of half our problems right there, and then I'll be eligible to run in 2016.

So you're not concerned that Hillary sticking it out to the bitter end might divide the party and allow McCain to basicly sneak in the White House back door?

Not that I care....I don't associate myself with any one party so if that happens  it doesn't really bother me. I don't really think there is a good canadiate this year....or for the last couple of election for that matter. I just try to pick what I think is going to be the lesser of two evils.

So that's it:  Friendly, old, anti-choice, war-monger vet or Abdullah-"change I frankly don't believe in" who looks 12 in a baseball cap and takes corporate handouts.  Boo.

Well maybe I should say that I picked what I thought was going to be the lesser of two evils AT THE TIME. If Bush was up for re-election again I doubt I'd vote for him, but he's not. So it's a moot point.

Hillary's the crazy bitch you used to date but never really got the hint.  She's not out of it until they throw her out.  And I think it's absolutely glorious.  I just wish Huckabee had stayed in the Republican campaign both to keep McCain's inadequacies front-and-center and show how a guerilla campaign is waged for the good of all future no-name non-millionaire candidates of either party.

And if anyone wishes for Kerry rather than Bush, you're crazy.  We would have only gotten a four-year leg-up on the economic oblivion and case of international limp-dick that awaits us in the Obama administration.

The last best hope for this nation is for an asteroid to hit the Capitol building during the 2009 State of the Union address.  No matter how you look at it, we're all fucked.

I really don't think Kerry would have changed anything. We'd still be stuck in Iraq, the economy would still be for shits, and the price of oil would still be higher then Tommy Chong on a friday night. I think those things where unavoidable no matter who was president, and I don't expect a great huge change will happen....just more of the same.

With the gas now officially over $4 (it's been over $4 for almost a month here) I really think the world's going to shit. People are now stealing gas out of parked cars by drilling holes in gas tanks. I expect any time now people killing each other for a tank of gas like it's the apocolypse. I don't think McCain or Obama can stop the coming end, but I may just jump on the Obama train as he's young and classy and not a hypocritical old fart.

No presidential canidate has the balls to do what is necessary to lower gas prices - take a huge mob of angry (hummer and escalade driving) Americans and invade the oil companies and slaughter the CEOs. Or kill the leaders of the OPEC nations and take over the countries, as they're the ones raising the price of barrels of oil.

Or we could just nuke China to death for stealing most of the world's oil. Tough times call for tough measures.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Gas prices are complex.  You have the crude prices, which are dictated by the OPEC cartel, the speculation market, and (probably the biggest part of the problem) the drop in the value of the dollar.  You have refining costs, particularly in the goofy-ass summer formulations.  There's the transportation costs (it takes gas to haul gas), and then there's increasing taxes, which aren't being addressed on either the state or federal levels.

Judging by things Obama has said and what his party's been doing, their only plan is to tax the oil companies (which, like all corporate taxes, is passed on to the consumers), continue to keep local reserves on ice (literally, considering ANWR), and generally increase taxes on people in general.  The Republicans, despite being in Big Oil's back pocket and doing their best to appear Democratic these days, don't support either three.

(probably the biggest part of the problem) the drop in the value of the dollar.

You know this one annoys me the most...the dollar is hurting because Americans arn't spending. Americans arn't spending cause they are afraid they won't be able to afford things like Gas, that have had huge price hikes lately. So the dollar loses value and the price of gas goes up further decreasing the dollar. It's just a big desturctive cycle that really doesn't work. I mean unless your goal is to cause the whole system to collapse in on it's self. Then it's working like a charm.
