I skim this post and spot Dali Lama.

He had a stop in a nearby town for three days. I was on my way to see relatives last weekend and drove by the stadium he was at, and they had news crews from every city within 100 miles... More amusing was the fact that the pro-Chinese protesters outnumbered the Free Tibet protesters 4 to 1. I think all those chinese are either in denial about their country's iron-fisted policies, or they've been brainwashed. Or they're just stupid. Might explain why the only businesses chinese people seem to start around here are restaurants.

Agree. And IIII live in Chinatown, for fuck's sake. Everybody tells me I have the biggest balls to go to the protests every sunday (which are being held 5 blocks away from chinatown) but I don't care, what the fuck are they going to do to me, nothing. It's funny when in the middle of the protest a group of chinese tourists pass by and they start screaming dumb shit at the tibetans. Which makes the tibetans raise their voice more and the other tourists(from other countries) look at the chinese people and laugh in their face. Aaahh the satisfaction.
