Well oddly enough there was a report about his consituents being college students... then under it a seperate articles about how college students know nothing about American History or politics. Why I'm not voting for Obama?

He's setting up like George W. Bush did in 2000. A uniter not a divider (reaching across the aisle?), very mysterious origins with failed businesses and bad people (half the stuff we know now about him now we didn't know before the election), sneaky religious ties, money coming in from unknown sources, an elite cadre of advisors pulling the strings from behind, a checkered mysterious past (who knows if his books are right), and while he can speak it's coming out he can't write for himself.

That and the republicans will roast him alive like they did Kerry. Kerry was supposedly strong, they ate him up.

Oh, and most Obama supporters (at least online) are dicks. They preach you should follow him, but when you say you won't or disagree with something he does, they call you a racist and just be a fucktwit.

Not one can tell me what the hell change really means.

I'm a big Obama supporter, but if it's Hillary over him then I'll vote Hillary.  I'd like a president who has a better chance of not dying before the end of their first term.

I haven't decided who I'm voting for at this point.  It'll be either Nader (who's threatening to run) or I won't vote for president and just stick with the state offices.  Of course, I wrote in "Tommy Monaghan" for governor back in November, so who's to say he won't get at least one write-in vote for president?
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

If I vote for McCain depends strongly on who his Vice is, since that person could conceivably become President during his term.  I'm still undecided at this point about where my vote will go, but I doubt it'll go to Clinton.

Mashing is a valid fetish. He can't lift his arms above his head for the good of the nation, damnit.

I'd vote for McCain if Jon Stewart became his veep.

http://www.canadaeast.com/rss/article/221939

Quote
CHICAGO - Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the United States will change for the better.

Farrakhan, addressing an estimated crowd of 20,000 people at the annual Saviours' Day celebration, never outrightly endorsed Obama but spent the majority of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator.

"This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said.

"This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."

Farrakhan compared Obama to the Nation of Islam's founder, Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father.

"A black man with a white mother became a saviour to us," he told the crowd of mostly followers dressed in Nation of Islam attire.

"A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

Farrakhan also levelled small jabs at Hillary Clinton, Obama's rival for the Democratic nomination.

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said: "Senator Obama has been clear in his objections to Minister Farrakhan's past pronouncements and has not solicited the minister's support."

Farrakhan rebuilt the Nation of Islam, which promotes black empowerment and nationalism, in the late 1970s after W.D. Mohammed, the son of longtime leader Elijah Mohammed, moved his followers toward mainstream Islam.

Farrakhan has drawn attention for calling Judaism a "gutter religion" and suggesting crack cocaine might have been a CIA plot to enslave blacks.

In recent years, however, officials with the Nation of Islam have promoted unity and tolerance among religions. Farrakhan now often quotes the texts of other religions, such as the Bible, in his speeches.

Farrakhan's keynote address at McCormick Place, Chicago's convention centre, wrapped up three days of events geared to unifying followers and targetting youth.

It had a different tone from a year ago, when Farrakhan made what was called his final public address at a Saviours' Day event in Detroit. The 74-year-old was recovering from complications from prostate cancer and months earlier had temporarily passed on leadership duties of the organization's day-to-day activities to an executive board.

Well Barry was talking to the Canadians it seems. They've reported his advisors told them his hatred of NAFTA is for political purposes, and he won't change the policy. Obama says he didn't mean that, but then why would Canada care or lie?

CANADA IS ESTABLISHMENT CLINTON SUPPORTERS!!!!omg

Hillary would be better for the country than Obama.  He's a radical socialist, whereas she's a plain old socialist.  McCain would be better than either, but not by a whole lot.

Could you post a list of reasons that obama sucks for us?

Listen to talk radio one day and you'll be well-armed.  The wingnuts have decided that Clinton's over with and have focused their attention on him now.  The latest thing is how they're investigating his involvement in shady real estate deals with Tony Rezco and an unnamed Iraqi millionaire.

This won't be over for a while. Tonight I think Hillary will win Ohio and RI. Texas I think she'd win, but he'd gain more delegates. Vermont will go for Obama.

Obama's dirty. The deeper the press digs, the more shit comes up. He's constructed his life to run for president in 2000, everything he did before then hasn't been studied as much. His tactics in ensuring that have placated the media, but with him over Hillary and no contention from the Repubs (since McCain is it), more and more is going to come up.

What might happen? Rumor, but what if McCain chooses Hillary as a VP choice. Once he gets the nom, he can pick whoever. That would easily trump Obama's message of unity, plus the two have worked together in the past. She's a conservative Liberal, he's a liberal conservative. Both sides hate both, yet together they would unite more than Obama/Hillary or Hillary/Obama.

...I'd vote for McCain/Clinton. I really would.
