Yeah, that's a good one. But something concentrating on how it's simply a medium to tell a story and some examples of transcending stories told in animation and not "Da Animatrix is c000l!"

I hate you guys now

I could have given a great Anime speech, I didn't even need to study that much, I could have winged it.

Instead, I had to think of another topic, decided on Identity theft the day before the speech was due.

Then today, I had to work 8 hours, and my bitch of a manager wouldn't let me leave early even though we had 6 people working that day. And she wonders why I was snappy and being a smartass towards her.

Finally, I left, and tried to finish up my speech but I was still short on info.

The class started, and it was my turn to go up, and I wasn't well prepared. The teach had to poke fun at me. "It's your turn to do your speech, are you ready? Do you have ANYTHING? You won't be able to do it again." And of course, everyone was staring at me.

I did the speech, but It wasn't very good, I didn't get a lot of info. I think I only got 50% on it. And everyone poked fun at me anyway.

Shit, I got a bad grade on my speech, and people teased me. I should have just done the anime speech, gotten an A, and if I got beat up, beat them up back. A good letter grade is worth a black eye and a bloody nose.

What pissed me off is that the teacher forced me up to do my speech. She was like "Come on Doug, do it."

I also hate it when teachers discuss your grade or a late paper to the entire class. One teacher told me "Your paper is late, I need it in now so you can pass this class," all loud like so the entire class knew I had a late paper. To me, that's private into that only me and the teacher should know about.

No wonder your teacher picks on you if all you do is whine like this. How is this our fault? We gave you our recommendation days ago. You had plenty of time to work on something. And if it was gonna be that big of a headache, you should've just done the dumb anime speech. Nobody was forcing you to not do an anime speech, we just all felt you shouldn't.

I'm pretty shy, too. A lot to the point where any type of confrontation with people can actually make me physically ill, though I'm able to overcome it more these days. My mom and all my teachers used to think I was such a bookworm because I had a book all the time. One day I told my mom, "I have news for you. Just because the book is open and I'm staring into it doesn't mean I'm reading it."

I have a cousin that a few relatives say is autistic. He's now three and his grandmother calls him autistic but has never had him diagnosed or gotten him any help.

I had a friend whose little brother was autistic, and his doctor made him take fish oil pills for it. I have no idea what fish oil will do for autism, though.

Oh yeah, I'm sorry. I know what you're talking about.

Anyway, I was tested for Ausberger's syndrome as a child, and the psychologists determined that I was not a candidate for this particular condition, but........ I fuckng am. I'm just extrenely sympathetic, with prevented me from doing anything really weird in front of people as a kid, and I was always a very good conversationalist, so they figured at the time that I was too comunicative to fall under the Ausberger's classification.
