Wikipedia says he was found facedown naked with pills nearby. On another note, it seems he completed filming his role as the Joker.

Adderol is what they use to treat ADD but actually its just speed pills that make you act weird.

From what I could tell, he had pneumonia and insomnia and was overmedicated. If he had handlers he'd be alive now.

Nooo I don't think that's it. I saw that he had an interview in which he said that he spent many nights without sleeping because he had to work on the movie, but I don't think that's what made it. Maybe it just gave him a little insomnia.

Yeah I agree with Faye. Ledger was a good face man but he was hardly a master character actor who was driven to kill himself by the miasma of sheer insanity he created within while preparing for/playing this role.

Yeah but it's good PR spin on a bad situation. It's to lead us to believe that The Joker is so disturbing that not even the guy playing him could sleep....and so of course you want to see this character that basicly killed the actor and so more people will go see the movie and the box office will be better. It's how Hollywood works.
