I'm probably going to get anything that plays videos and macs that ISN'T an iCrap. My scroll wheel works again, but the dang thing acts wierd sometimes, like stopping in the middle of songs.

Zune is just a microsoft ipod. same propriety software and forced formats apply, just a different company.

Creative Zen would be better if you're not into all that shit. more versatile.

I'm going to get a Nano. because I own a mac, and I already use itunes and have my video ipod ready.

It all takes MP3 and MP4 from what I've read. I've got all WMA and MP3's personally.

You could burn the wma's onto a disc and rerip as MP3s. Or if you have the original discs, rerip them as MP3s.

OH. IT'S GETTING RETURNED. I may just fucking pony up the extra $50 for a god damn Ipod at this rate. Seriously. This kind of bullshit is outrageous for a GOD DAMN MP3 PLAYER.
Here's HOW AN MP3 PLAYER SHOULD WORK:
1st Step: I buy it.
2nd Step: I plug it into a Computer.
3rd Step: Maybe a five minute software installation.
4th Step: Put my music on it.
5th Step: Put a few pics on it.
6th Step: HAVE AT IT.

NOT SCOURING GOD DAMN WEBSITES FOR SOFTWARE UPGRADES FOR MY FUCKING OPERATING SYSTEM SO I CAN JUST OPEN THE DAMN THING FOR SIX BLOODY HOURS. SIX FUCKING HOURS OF THIS SHIT.

Someone I talked to about this said that it is "S'all life." I replied thusly:
