I think the actual ear lopping is on the DVD as a deleted scene. I have the DVD... I'll probably go watch it sometime. I didn't before, though, because it was the first time I had seen the movie and I didn't feel like watching the uncut scene.

Always figured that it never worked right when they shot it and thus why they cut away when he did it. That they couldn't cut the ear off and not make it look fake. The pan seemed so unnatural and out of place in the movie, that there had to be a reason for it. I mean I can't believe it was because it was too graphic in that movie. But I got the DVD too, so I'll chell as well but I don't think that is on my copy. Then again I don't have the ultra nice metal tin version that came out not to long ago. I have the first DVD release one.
