My lexicon rejects "alpha shitty".

I mean "alpha kitty".  This is the stupidest new buzzword I've heard in years.  Apparently it's suppose to describe, well, I'll let the article I read it from tell you:

"An alpha kitty is starring in her own movie, and she wants the set to be glamorous. She's one step closer to having it all, but having it all in her way, not defined by others' standards."

I thought it was an odd subject for an article so I looked up the doubletongued thing (the first link) and this Atoosa person from the article put the entry there herself.  She also, as the article says, whores this horrid term on her myspace which is linked to the doubletongued article:

...by being a collective group bound by a term.  Way to go.  Weird is the new normal?  FTW.

Well at least you aren't shallow, catlady.     So this lady pretty much wants us to work hard so we can treat ourselves to seemingly ridiculous levels of luxury and change teh world at the same time (mentioned in the article and her myspace) so we can "earn" the equivilent of the moniker "alpha male" except de-powered so it can be cuter and fluffier.  Also if you look at her myspace, one gets the feeling she's pushing the "term" just so she can popularize herself as the originator of it, turn around, and use it to make herself a profit somehow.  She made it up and tacked it on doubletongued two months ago.  Then it magically appears in the Times nevermind that she worked at Hearst for 12 years?  Whateva, like that's legit.  Couldn't she at least come up with a cooler word?  I like cats too but that doesn't mean I'd call myself "pussy queen" or something.

Strangely, "alpha kitty" applies to dudes, too.  Oh yeah, like some guy's gonna want to be called that.   The late JFK would only have one thing to say about this:

What scares me the most is that an actual reporter wasted her time and our own by writing an article about this lady. I mean even the people at my local paper have more self-recpect then that, and they covered the Testicle Festival. (no, I'm not kidding.)
